Your Donation in International Solidarity with Women of Guatemala
The International Alliance of Inhabitants urges you to make a small donation to the citizens Aura Margarita Valenzuela Méndez, Mariela Álvarez Sucup and María Magdalena Zarat Cuzan, who have been unfairly taken to court and criminalised by the Guatemalan legal system which has ordered them to pay a fine of $1950.00 for the crime of aggravated usurpation.
With happiness, hope and good faith, the International Alliance of Inhabitants urges popular organisations, civil society and all libertarian voices and community organisations to support the citizens Aura Margarita Valenzuela Méndez, Mariela Álvarez Sucup and María Magdalena Zarat Cuzan, who have been unfairly taken to court and criminalised by the Guatemalan legal system in criminal proceedings 02035-2016-01403 in the Tribunal for Criminal Matters, Drug Trafficking and Crimes against the Environment of Villa Nueva, Department of Guatemala. It has ordered them to pay an onerous fine of $650.00 (six hundred and fifty dollars) each, for a total of $1950.00 (one thousand nine hundred and fifty dollars) for the crime of aggravated usurpation.
Our friends have committed to defending the housing of impoverished families in Guatemala, and for this reason, the judges ordered them to pay the onerous fine in order to remain at liberty.
We hope you will be able to make a small donation to the following bank account:

or via Western Union to Aura Margarita Valenzuela Méndez and provide the transfer number via WhatsApp (+502 53950401) to contribute towards payment of the fine which will allow these women human rights defenders to remain at liberty.
International solidarity is essential in order for our friends to continue to support popular resistance for the right to habitat.
